The Career Opportunities Center (COC) is staffed with nine professionals ready to assist you with your job search whether you are interested in full-time, co-op, or summer employment. The COC provides assistance to you as a first semester freshman, all the way through college, and even as an alum!

Our resources include student computers for preparing your application materials, viewing job postings, and using on-line employer search engines; assistance creating effective résumés and cover letters, a videotaped practice interview area and much more.

A wide variety of employers recruit Missouri S&T students - approximately 513 different employers per year! When recruiting students for full-time employment, employers expect applicants to have three items:

1. A good GPA
2. Related work experience
3. Involvement in leadership activities

You will want to maintain focus on these three items throughout your academic years at the Missouri University of Science and Technology.
