The practice interview will take approximately 1 hour. Keep in mind that employers rate enthusiasm and energy among top qualities. Contact the COC to schedule a practice interview.

To get the maximum benefit of a practice interview you should

• Refer to the Career Opportunities Center Career Guide pages 18-20 for information on:
  • Common Questions Asked by Employers
  • Questions to Ask Employers
  • The Behavioral Interview
  • Behavioral Interviewing Questions
  • The Do's and Don'ts of Interviewing
• Expect to be asked for examples where you have demonstrated certain abilities. (i.e. conflict resolution, flexibility, meeting deadlines.)
• Be prepared to answer questions regarding the company.
• Research the company in which you are interested in and be prepared to ask questions about it.
• Wear business attire (refer to page 16 in the COC Career Guide) and bring a copy of your resume.
• Bring VHS-C tape if you wish to keep a copy of the interview
