Sara is an innovative career services professional. At Missouri S&T, Sara is excited to lead the
Career Opportunities and Employer Relations team to support the success of students, alumni,
and employers. Sara most recently served as Executive Director of Career Services at Western
Colorado University, where she incorporated career development and readiness across
departments and aligned career services to the University’s strategic plan goal of advancing
professional pathways to drive career success.
Previously, Sara served as Director of Career and Professional Development at Ripon College in
Wisconsin. Sara also has nearly 15 years of business experience as a co-founder, partner, and
project manager of a marketing and technology firm. Sara is active with the National Association
of Colleges and Employers (NACE), including previously co-leading a national affinity group.
Sara was also a committee member for the Colorado Department of Higher Education's Career
Connected Campus Designation Review Committee. Sara holds a M.S. in Educational
Leadership from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and a B.S. from Marian University. She is
also a Certified Career Services Provider (CCSP).

Brandon serves as Assistant Director of Employer Relations & Events in Career Opportunities and Employer Relations (COER) at Missouri S&T. He leads employer engagement strategy, develops corporate partnerships, and oversees career fairs and recruitment events that connect students and alumni with meaningful employment opportunities.

Prior to joining Missouri S&T, Brandon built a strong foundation in leadership and organizational strategy through more than 15 years of professional experience managing teams, coordinating large-scale initiatives, and working across diverse organizations. His background in operations, employee management, and strategic planning informs his approach to building sustainable employer partnerships and delivering impactful students to employer experiences.

Brandon holds a bachelor’s degree in human resource management and is passionate about workforce development, strengthening industry collaboration, and creating clear, accessible pathways from education to employment.
