Presentation Requests
Would you like a COER Career Advisor to speak to your class? Career advisors can present a workshop to your students on a variety of professional development topics. Consider our ready-made seminars and workshops, or let us know of a topic you would like us to present. If you would like to schedule a guest speaker, or if you are planning to miss a day of class, we can cover for you. We can also work with you to arrange an employer to speak to your class.

Serving as a Reference or writing a letter of recommendation
Has a student asked you to be a reference for the in their job search? Or have they asked you to write a letter of recommendation? If so, keep in mind that FERPA laws and rights do apply. Please ask the student to fill out a FERPA Permission to Release Form so you can release information.

Are you a faculty member that would like to have an employer create a five- to 10-minute videos connected to classroom concepts that you can use as a resource. These technical videos will not only benefit the employers by providing a campus branding opportunity but will benefit students by exposing them to “real-life” applications of classroom concepts.
